Day 1 Meet with your guide at 08:30 at your Hotel in San Pedro Sula. Overland transfer to Trujillo. The Caribbean coast of Honduras is one of the richest regions in popular culture, contemporary history and tropical ecological diversity. It is the region that possess the greatest agricultural and industrial development.

Trujillo is one of the first capitals of the new world and an important port during colonial times. Historical sites, such as the Santa Barbara Fortress, and the tomb of American adventurer and pirate William Walker, form part of this town's colonial heritage. Overnight in Trujillo.

Day 2 Early morning visit to the Capiro and Calentura National Park. The park is located on the mountain directly behind Trujillo, and is the best spot for contemplating the beauty of the majestic Trujillo Bay. Brief tour through town, free afternoon to enjoy the Afro-Caribbean atmosphere and the white sandy beach. At night we enjoy the folklore of the Garífuna community, expressed through music and dancing. Overnight in Trujillo.

Day 3 Overland transfer through the north coast plantation region to the community of Olanchito. En route, we stop and visit a banana plantation. Upon arrival in Olanchito, we settle in at the visitor's center of La Muralla National Park, where we spend the following two nights. Introduction and presentation of the park and cloud forest ecology. Typical dinner and overnight in the park's visitors center.

Day 4 The visitors' center itself boasts a small museum on the flora and fauna of the park, as well as a video screening room. The displays and literature will give you a good idea of what you can expect to encounter in the cloud forest. We spend the day exploring and trekking along park trails, gaining knowledge of and admiring the diverse flora and fauna. Return to camp, enjoying the seclusion and tranquility of this untouched, special place. Typical dinner and overnight at the park's visitor center.

Day 5 Today we continue our tour on a drive through the countryside to Tegucigalpa. After settling in, tour of historic sites, as well as the administrative and political centers of the capital. Overnight in Tegucigalpa.

Day 6 After breakfast transfer to the visitor's center of La Tigra National Park. La Tigra boasts everything a Honduran national park should, from an abundance of exotic animal species to refreshing waterfalls to kilometers of peaceful, well maintained trails. Hike on park trails, over the mountain. During the hike, we have plenty of opportunity to enjoy and admire the beauty of the forest. In the afternoon we drive to Valle de Angeles, where we visit the famous National Handicraft Center. In the afternoon return to the hotel.

Day 7 We will enjoy our breakfast in a lovely tropical garden restaurant. Continuing toward the north coast we stop briefly in the town of Comayagua and at Lake Yojoa, reaching San Pedro Sula in the afternoon where our tour ends.
