Day 1 Early morning transfer on a scenic route from San Pedro Sula to Gracias. On the way we stop in Santa Rosa de Copán, the most important city in the western region. We tour a local tobacco factory and observe the manual production of Honduran cigars. During the afternoon, we tour the historical sites of Gracias, an interesting town, which was the first capital of the Central American Provinces during the Spanish colonial period. Typical dinner and overnight in Gracias. 

Day 2 Early in the morning transfer to the Celaque National Park's Visitors Center, located 1,400 Mts. above sea level. The Celaque mountain is part of the mountain range with the same name, the highest in the region at 2, 849 meters above sea level. We have all day to explore the rich biodiversity of this cloud forest and to appreciate the many species of flora within: orchids, ferns, bromeliads, ancient trees, and lianas, among others. We take a brief rest with a snack. In the afternoon return to Gracias to bathe in the natural hot springs. Overnight in Gracias.

Day 3 After breakfast transfer to La Esperanza where we will interact with the Lenca Indians, the largest indigenous group in the country. After lunch we continue our trip towards San Pedro Sula driving through some of the nicest landscapes of Honduras.
