Classic Yojoa Lake - 2 Days Nature,
Bird Watching Day
1 Meet with your guide at 08:15 at your hotel in San Pedro Sula.
Scenic drive to the Lake Yojoa. After settling in, we take a boat ride
across the lake to the western shore for short excursion through the
damp forest. In the afternoon we return to the hotel for rest and
leisure time. We dine in a typical restaurant to savor the tasty bass.
Overnight in a nearby hotel. Day 2 After breakfast we take walk for some bird watching. Lake Yojoa attracts the greatest concentration of birds in the country. About 400 of the 700 species registered in Honduras can be found around this lake. Later we visit the Pulhapanzak Waterfall, most spectacular in the country. En route to San Pedro Sula, we stop and tour the town of Santa Barbara, renowned for the colorful baskets and panama hats produced by local cooperatives. Lunch in Santa Barbara before returning to San Pedro Sula. Services
